Bjelovar-Bilogor county is the easternmost county in central Croatia . It covers a large part of the Lonj-Čazman valley, and is surrounded by the mountains of Bilogora, Papuk and Moslavačka gora .
The Bjelovar-Bilogor county occupies an area of 2,652 km2, which is 3.03% of the total area of Croatia. The center of the county is the city of Bjelovar, the political, cultural and economic center of the county, and it is home to numerous institutions that, through their active activities, give the city appropriate importance.
