The routes follow macadam and low-traffic asphalt roads through forests, meadows, vineyards and fields. Only in some places are the shorter connecting roads covered with hard Bilogora loam.

Thanks to careful routing, all four routes are circular and interconnected, and therefore
the cyclist can turn on them anywhere with a mobile application that will determine where they are on the route even before reaching the INFO board on which, as in the application, there are maps of all routes with information on length, height difference and surface, as well as marked rest stops and interesting localities on and near the route. On the route itself, and in its immediate vicinity, there are already six places suitable for rest.

The total length of the route is 82 km, of which about 57 are on unpaved roads. It is possible to "shorten" the route, so we actually have four routes: in addition to the longest, there are also routes of 25, 40 and 60 km.

The BILOgravel route is connected to the Bjelovar Bilogorska route, and thus is also connected to the circular route
county route. In addition, it partly coincides with the international route Balaton-Lonjsko Polje and the Bilodrava route, which connect it to the network of routes along the Drava River and beyond.
