SPRING ROUTE

The city of Daruvar has been known for its geothermal water springs in the city center since the time of the Romans, and the first springs in the city center were discovered during the time of Antun Janković in the 18th century. The settlements of the town of Daruvar, Vrbovac and Markovac are abundant with sources of clean drinking water, spring water located in the centers of the settlements. The municipality of Sirač has also long been known for its sources of drinking water, both in the municipality and in the surrounding settlements. On the basis of all of the above, and with a joint reflection on the wealth of water sources in the area of the Daruvar - Papuk destination, on the untouched nature in the settlements of Vrbovac and Markovac, it was decided to revitalize that area in the best possible natural way by forming the "SPRING ROUTE" cycling route - Spajnej thermal water source in Daruvar and drinking water source in Sirač through the development of cycle tourism infrastructure .

The cycling route is 32 kilometers long, the path is moderately demanding, and the path surface is a combination of asphalt and macadam. There are four cycling rest areas on the track that connect the area. "SPRING ROUTE" combines driving through untouched nature and the urban environment of the destination .
